Head of Marketing

Head of Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, reviewing and reporting on all areas of the bank’s marketing strategies, managing marketing teams, and ensuring alignment with the bank’s business goals. This role focuses on driving brand growth, leading the development of all marketing plans, enhancing customer engagement, focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services and maximizing market share through effective marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and delivers a fully integrated strategy to support the bank’s business objectives.
  • Oversees a wide range of marketing activities including: Building strategies across marketing teams (digital, advertising, communications, and creative).
  • Understanding business objectives and how to achieve them, creating and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing budgets.
  • Making sure the marketing team's efficiency matches the organization's goal, leads and directs the marketing department, including digital marketing, advertising, communications, creative teams and analyze the consumer pattern.
  • Establish KPIs for the team and ensure accountability through regular performance reviews.
  • Lead the development and execution of all performance marketing campaigns, design and delivery of promotional materials, advertisement, and corporate communications across search and social media.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to shape marketing campaigns and product offerings.
  • Involved in driving forward marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, drive leads Marketing Qualified Lead (MQLs) and support the sales team.
  • Responsible for marketing media assets through promotions and events with new and innovative marketing methods.
  • Develops plans to establish the bank's brand and bank projects, to set short-term and long-term department goals.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Strengthen the bank’s brand presence through consistent messaging and branding efforts.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to design marketing plans for new and existing products.
  • Develop strategies to improve product visibility and customer adoption.
  • Lead the bank’s digital transformation in marketing, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media, and email campaigns.
  • Oversee the bank’s online presence, including website management and digital advertising efforts.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by designing campaigns tailored to customer preferences and feedback.
  • Promote loyalty programs and initiatives to improve client retention.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on marketing performance and growth opportunities.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by top management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy, branding, and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficient in English
